We wrote this song after the death of an animal that we loved; it's about trying to hold onto memories of tenderness in the wake of loss. What happened in Oakland brings back so many memories of DIY spaces—in Oakland, in LA, in the Northwest, all over the country, and all over the world—and we just want to hold onto and celebrate all the moments we've been able to share with people in these spaces, which are so important, then, now, in the future, and more than ever. We dedicate this to Joey Casio.
